IRG Law is working with a highly regarded regional law firm with a growing London presence to recruit an ambitious Employment Solicitor looking to take the next step towards Partnership.
 
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Employment Lawyer who enjoys high-quality respondent-side work but feels their current firm offers limited progression opportunities. The successful candidate will join a well-established and growing Employment team that forms a key part of the firm's long-term strategic plans.
 
 
The Opportunity
You will advise a broad range of commercial clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
  • Corporate support and transactional employment work
  • Unfair and wrongful dismissal claims
  • Redundancy and restructuring projects
  • Restrictive covenants and post-termination restrictions
  • Day-to-day HR and employment advisory matters
  • Employment Tribunal claims and disputes
 
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be encouraged to play an active role in developing client relationships, generating new work and helping shape the future growth of the department.
 
 
About You
 
You will likely be:
  • A qualified Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE
  • Currently working within private practice employment law
  • Experienced in acting for employers and commercial clients
  • Interested in developing your own client following and profile
  • Commercially minded with strong relationship-building skills
  • Looking for a genuine pathway towards Partnership
 
Existing business development experience will be highly valued, although candidates who have begun building a network and are keen to accelerate their progression are also encouraged to apply.
