A highly regarded West End law firm is seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Associate to join its growing real estate team.
The team is ranked in Tier 4 of The Legal 500 for Commercial Property: Corporate Occupiers and has been recognised in the directory for five consecutive years. It also holds The Legal 500's Client Satisfaction accreditation, awarded to firms ranking within the top 30% of their jurisdiction for client service.
With more than £1 billion of property transactions completed over the past 12 months, the team advises on a broad range of high-value and complex commercial real estate matters. The wider firm is also recognised in The Times Best Law Firms 2026 and ranked by The Legal 500 for Hospitality and Leisure, Private Client and Retail and Consumer work.
The role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and entrepreneurial firm with an impressive UK and international client base. Clients include high-net-worth individuals, property investors, developers, luxury retail brands and corporate occupiers.
Working closely with experienced partners, you will manage your own caseload and client relationships while advising on:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Property finance transactions
- Portfolio and asset management
- Development transactions
- Pre-lets and occupational requirements
- Property-related joint ventures
- Commercial property support on corporate acquisitions, disposals and restructurings
You will have significant direct client contact and the autonomy to take responsibility for matters with partner support where required. You will also contribute to business development, strengthen existing client relationships and help generate new opportunities for the team.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- At least four years' PQE in commercial property
- Experience gained within a respected City, West End or highly regarded regional law firm
- Strong technical experience across acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and property finance
- Experience providing property support on corporate transactions
- The ability to manage a busy caseload independently and with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to advise sophisticated UK and international clients
- A proactive, commercially focused and collaborative approach
- An interest in complex and high-value commercial property matters
- A genuine commitment to business development and building their own professional profile
- A strong work ethic and reliable billing record
Experience acting for high-net-worth individuals, investors, developers, luxury retail brands or similar commercial clients would be particularly advantageous.
